ABSTRACT Are there any preferable alternatives to the widespread method of liquids concentration in vacuum evaporators? For which cases where the method of liquids concentration by spray evaporation may be more expedient as compared to others? What are the principal advantages and limitations of such method of concentration? These problems are considered in detail in this report. The techno-economic evaluation of these methods was made taking spray drying of different materials as a reference technology.
