ABSTRACT

Kinetics of drying process of different materials is considered. The equations of kinetics, as analytical solution of the differential equation of diffusion with a boundary condition in form of the flux, are examined. A novel approach to drying of both hygroscopic and non- hygroscopic capillary porous materials is presented. The results of theoretical study of change of concentration and rate of process in time are given.
The dependences for these parameters are given for non-stationary current of process.
On an example of comparison of the applied equations with experimental data of drying of materials with different sorption properties (wool bobbin, brick slabs and corn kernels), the good their conformity to experiment is shown. The diagrams of drying kinetics are plotted.
